Mollie is a Dutch payment provider. iDEAL, credit card, Bancontact, Apple Pay and SEPA Direct Debit without the hassle, with administration and support that suit a Dutch business. Our choice for Dutch and Belgian clients.

What Mollie is

A payment platform from Amsterdam, built around iDEAL and European payment methods. One-off payments, recurring direct debits, payment links, invoices and a dashboard. An API that is simpler than Stripe's and just right for most Dutch situations.

What we use it for

Payments in webshops on Webflow Ecommerce and Shopify. Membership fees and subscriptions in member portals; for the EViPRG member site we connected Mollie for membership fees. Deposits in booking systems. Payment links in automations.

How it fits our stack

Called from Xano or Make, with webhooks back to Xano for the payment status. Payouts and invoices go to the accounting software through an integration.

Mollie or Stripe

Mollie for the Netherlands and Belgium: lower iDEAL fees, Dutch support and fast payouts. Stripe for international business, for complex subscriptions and for tools that only support Stripe, such as Memberstack.

Mollie heeft geen vaste kosten. Je betaalt een vast bedrag per iDEAL-transactie en een percentage voor creditcards. Voor Nederlandse webshops is Mollie meestal goedkoper dan Stripe.

Werkt automatische incasso met Mollie?

Ja, automatische incasso werkt met Mollie. De eerste betaling gaat via iDEAL, daarna volgt automatische SEPA-incasso. Geschikt voor contributies en abonnementen.

Hoe snel betaalt Mollie uit?

Mollie betaalt dagelijks, wekelijks of maandelijks uit. Dat stel je zelf in.

Is betalen via Mollie veilig?

Ja. Mollie is een vergunninghoudende betaalinstelling onder toezicht van DNB. Betaalgegevens raken onze systemen niet, ze gaan rechtstreeks naar Mollie.

Kunnen we Mollie combineren met Stripe?

Ja, Mollie en Stripe kun je combineren. Bijvoorbeeld Mollie voor iDEAL-betalingen en Stripe voor abonnementen via Memberstack.
