Resend is an email service for developers. Confirmations, password resets, notifications, and newsletters, sent from your application with high deliverability and a clean API. We use it for all emails originating from portals and automations.

What Resend is

A delivery service with an API, code-based templates, domain verification, logging for every email, and broadcasts to lists with personalization. Built for developers, without the bloat of a marketing platform.

What we use it for

Transactional emails from portals and booking systems: confirmations, reminders, status updates. Emails from automations. And broadcasts to member lists, for example for an association that wants to reach its members without a separate newsletter platform.

How it fits into our stack

Triggered from Xano, Make or Next.js. Branded templates with the correct sender and a verified domain so that emails don't end up in spam.

When not to use

For marketing email with segmentation, campaigns, and reporting, a platform like HubSpot or Mailchimp is more suitable. Resend sends; it does not do marketing.

Met een geverifieerd domein en de juiste DNS-instellingen wel. Dat richten wij in. Resend toont per mail of hij is afgeleverd en geopend.

Kunnen we de mailsjablonen in Resend aanpassen?

Teksten wel, als we die in een bron zetten die jij beheert. De opmaak van de mailsjablonen in Resend staat in code en passen wij aan.

Werkt Resend met onze eigen afzender?

Ja. Mail via Resend komt van je eigen domein en je eigen afzender, niet van Resend. We verifiëren het domein, zodat de mail niet in spam belandt.

Is Resend AVG-proof?

Resend biedt een verwerkersovereenkomst en opslag in de EU is instelbaar.
