Get found for the terms your customers are searching for. Technology and content, measured and adjusted instead of just promised.
Tell me what isn't working or what's taking up too much of your time, and I'll let you know what I would do and roughly what it would cost. You'll be speaking directly to me, not an account manager.

SEO is about ensuring you are found for the terms your customers are searching for. This breaks down into two parts that both need to be right. Technical: can a search engine read, understand, and load your site quickly? Content: does it contain information that answers the question someone is asking? We do both, for sites we built ourselves and for sites built by others.
Your site looks good but doesn't appear in the results anywhere. You rank for your own name and nothing else. Search Console reports errors that no one is looking at. You have a blog full of articles that don't attract traffic. You lost rankings after a redesign or migration. Or you pay an SEO agency every month and don't see what you're getting in return.
Ensuring Google can find and index everything: sitemaps, robots, canonicals, and no pages accidentally excluded. A heading structure that reflects the content. Metadata per page instead of generic text everywhere. Structured data so a search engine knows whether a page is about a company, a product, a job opening, or a question. Speed and Core Web Vitals, because a slow page loses. Redirects that work so old links lead somewhere. And for multiple languages, the correct hreflang tags.
First, figure out what your customers are actually searching for, which is often different from the terminology you use internally. This leads to a page structure: one page per question or service, not per department. Texts that actually answer the question, in plain language, with the most important information at the top. Internal links that give meaning to what is important. And content that keeps working, so you don't have to start over every quarter.
We start with an audit: where you stand now, where your traffic comes from, and which pages are doing the work. This results in a prioritized list of what will yield the most value. We implement the technical points and write or rewrite the pages that matter. Then we measure again. No monthly reports with charts without conclusions, just a short list of what was done and what it achieved.
The initial audit determines the scope and has a fixed price. After that, you receive a fixed price for the technical improvements and, if you wish, for the content. Ongoing work is usually handled through a continuous development subscription. Results in organic search take time: Google picks up technical improvements within weeks, but new content often takes months.
If you sell to a handful of parties you know personally, SEO won't yield much. If your traffic is entirely driven by ads and you want to keep it that way, a landing page is a better investment. And anyone promising quick rankings for difficult terms is selling something that doesn't exist.
During the migration of Immerse Education migrated a large-scale WordPress site to Webflow without losing traffic, including structured data for every program and a comprehensive redirect list. The client's SEO agency signed off before anything went live.
Getting found in AI answers: AI discoverability. Speed: performance optimization. Measuring impact: analytics and reporting. Knowing where you stand first: research and analysis.

SEO valt uiteen in twee delen.
