Hero

PIP Innovations provides AI-driven cutting and defect removal systems to potato and vegetable processors worldwide. DeDigitaal has been their dedicated digital partner since 2022. We built two generations of their website in Webflow, made the site multilingual, and manage the surrounding digital marketing. Since 2026, we have been working on an AEO strategy to ensure PIP is also cited in AI search engines like ChatGPT.

in short

PIP Innovations develops AI-driven cutting and defect removal systems for the food processing industry. Their products, the S-Blade and D-Blade, are used in potato and vegetable processing plants worldwide. Founded in 2015 within a processing facility, the company is built on a foundation of patents, in-house software development, and 24/7 service.

We have been working with PIP Innovations since 2022. During this time, we built a landing page and two full versions of their website in Webflow, developed digital brand assets such as whitepapers, vCards, and banner advertising, and established a multilingual digital presence in five languages. Our collaboration expanded to include email marketing and video ads in online trade journals. From 2026, we added an AEO strategy focused on visibility in AI models.

the challenge

The client's challenge.

A website that grows with global ambition

PIP has grown into an international player, with the S-Blade and D-Blade installed in factories around the world. The website needed to keep pace: sharper product presentation, multiple languages, and utility as a sales tool during training sessions and international travel. A site that supports the sales conversation and helps the team get to the point faster.

One recognizable face across every digital channel

PIP is active on its own site, in email, on industry platforms, and in online advertisements. The goal was for the S-Blade and D-Blade to convey the same message and look and feel everywhere. In a niche market where buyers require multiple touchpoints, consistent imagery builds trust.

Addressing prospects in their own language

PIP is active in several European markets and beyond. A technical investment like a cutting system is best discussed in one's own language, so the site needed to go beyond just English. Additionally, there was an opportunity on PotatoPro, the platform the potato industry checks daily.

Being cited by AI models

Buyers and engineers are increasingly asking their questions to ChatGPT and similar answer engines. PIP wanted to appear there as a specialist in defect removal and cutting systems. Being visible in those channels early on builds a competitive advantage.

the approach

What we did.

Two generations of websites in Webflow

The first website went live in February 2023, following a kick-off and tour in Odiliapeel. A full rebuild followed in 2025 with a new visual design, revised product pages for the S-Blade and D-Blade, and a CMS for applications, articles, and FAQs. The rebuild went live at the end of 2025. Because we built both versions, all knowledge regarding the product and target audience was carried directly over to the new site.

Digital brand assets and campaigns

We built the digital assets that PIP uses in the market around the website: whitepapers, vCards, email campaigns, banners, and video ads in online trade journals. Everything follows the same design and messaging as the site. A prospect who sees a banner, receives an email, and then visits the site recognizes a single, unified brand.

Multilingualism via Linguana

Instead of using external translation agencies, we opted for AI translation via Linguana, supplemented by human review for each language. The site is available in Dutch, German, French, Spanish, and Japanese. As a result, new content is quickly available in all languages, without the costs and lead times associated with a translation agency.

AEO strategy for discoverability in AI models

Starting in 2026, we are implementing an AEO strategy focused on discoverability in AI models like ChatGPT. The foundation is a baseline measurement using 70 prompts across eight categories. Based on this, we write articles and FAQs that answer questions regarding defect removal and cutting systems. External sources also count: we manage the PotatoPro Platinum sponsorship, from profile pages and product content to banners, videos, and an interview about S-Blade. AI models base their answers on such sources, so visibility there works double.

Product pages that act as sales tools

S-Blade and D-Blade each have their own page featuring an overview, benefits, specifications, and applications. Visitors can quickly find what they need to start a conversation. The pages are structured so that sales teams can use them as a presentation during meetings.

Site available in five languages

Using Linguana, the site has been translated into Dutch, German, French, Spanish, and Japanese, with human review for each language. PIP can now welcome international prospects in their own language. This lowers the barrier for an initial conversation in markets where English is not the default.

Articles and FAQs optimized for AI search engines

Based on a baseline measurement, we wrote content that answers the questions asked about defect removal and cutting systems. This content is live on the site and continues to grow. The goal: to ensure PIP is mentioned whenever someone asks an AI assistant for advice.

Wat is er verbeterd bij PIP Innovations

International website in five languages

S-Blade and D-Blade are clearly positioned on a site that works in five languages. Sales uses the site as a sales tool for international contacts, training sessions, and trade shows.

‍

S-Blade visible on PotatoPro

S-Blade has a full profile on PotatoPro, featuring product and FAQ content, banners, videos, and an interview. This makes PIP visible on the platform that the target audience consults daily.

‍

AEO strategy underway

The first articles and FAQs are live, and the strategy will continue throughout 2026. The baseline measurement makes it possible to periodically track progress in AI-generated answers.

‍

Pre-sales customer portal in development

At PIP's request, we designed a pre-sales portal that provides prospects with controlled access to product documentation. The visual design and prototype have been delivered; development will follow as the next phase.

‍

One fixed partner for everything digital

What started in 2022 with a landing page has grown into an ongoing partnership. PIP has a single point of contact for their website, digital marketing, and AEO, with product knowledge that deepens every year.
