What you notice as a client of a Webflow Premium Partner

Webflow has a partner programme with three tiers: Foundations, Certified and Premium. DeDigitaal is at the highest tier. Nice for me, but the question that matters is what it does for you. Below is what it does mean and what it does not.

How the programme works

Webflow looks at the number of client projects delivered, the build quality of those projects, certifications earned and what you contribute to the ecosystem. Your projects are assessed on how they are put together, not just on how they look. The status is renewed annually. Stop building and you drop back down. There are few Premium Partners in the Netherlands. That is mainly because the volume and continuity it requires do not suit a studio that takes on the occasional Webflow project.

What it means for you in practice

A build you can manage yourself

The assessment is about structure: classes, components, CMS setup, how the site is built for whoever has to work in it later. That is exactly the difference between a site you can extend yourself and a site you have to come back for with every change.

A direct line to Webflow

I have a dedicated contact at Webflow and priority support. If something gets stuck in a migration or with an enterprise question, I get it sorted directly instead of joining a ticket queue.

Earlier access to new functionality

Partners get early access to new features. That helps when deciding how to build something. You do not want to cobble together a workaround for something that will be native in Webflow in two months.

Work that goes beyond the website

Most of what I build does not stop at a website. Portals, dashboards, integrations with Airtable or Xano, automations. Webflow is the front end in all of that. A front end built to a high standard is the foundation, not the finish line.

What the badge does not tell you

The badge says that Webflow has verified my Webflow work. It says nothing about whether someone understands your sector, whether they dig into what you actually want to achieve, or whether they are honest when the answer has to be no. So always ask about the work itself, ideally about a project similar to yours.

Also ask who will manage the site afterwards. A well-built Webflow site can be handed over to your own marketer. If that is not possible, something is wrong with the build, however many badges are on the agency's website.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Certified and Premium?

Certified requires an assessment and a number of reviewed client projects. Premium sits above that: more projects, consistently high quality, and it has to be earned again every year. Premium is the highest tier of the programme.

Does Premium guarantee a successful project?

No. It guarantees that the build has been assessed. The rest depends on how sharp the brief is and how well the collaboration goes.

Is Webflow suitable for my organisation?

For most SMEs and fast-growing organisations: yes. If you need heavy custom functionality, Webflow is the front end and the logic lives elsewhere. If you are unsure, I will look at it with you in half an hour. Even if the answer is no.

Does a Premium Partner cost more?

Not necessarily. What to look at is what you get back: a site you manage yourself, a structure that grows with you, and someone who will still be around next year.

See for yourself

My Webflow partner profile shows the work that has been assessed. The work page features the case studies, with what was built and what it delivered. That says more than a badge.
