Bistrobar Beaune in Rozendaal, with Ron Blaauw as a consultant, offers more than just great food; it’s a complete experience thanks to its unique location. We designed and built the website in Webflow and subsequently expanded it with dedicated pages for corporate guests, groups, and the venue's various spaces. Cross-links between pages ensure that visitors are guided to the information most relevant to them at that moment. The result is a well-organized site that is easily searchable by segment and simple for the client to manage themselves.

Bistrobar Beaune is an atmospheric restaurant in Rozendaal with a view of Rosendael Castle. The kitchen features French influences and works in collaboration with culinary advisor Ron Blaauw. The venue offers space for a wide range of occasions: from business lunches and meetings to weddings and private dining.
We designed and built the Bistrobar Beaune website in Webflow, using photography and motion to convey the atmosphere of the location. Since then, the site has grown alongside everything the venue has to offer. Business guests, groups, and private parties each deserved their own dedicated entry point; there was a need for a space for news, and the contact page needed to be more practical. We expanded the site with a new site structure, additional pages, and a blog module, ensuring Bistrobar Beaune welcomes every visitor in the right way.
Bistrobar Beaune welcomes restaurant diners, business visitors, groups, and private parties. On the site, they were all receiving the same information, without separate pages for each segment. Someone planning a meeting is looking for something different than someone organizing a wedding, and if they don't find their answer quickly, they won't make an inquiry.
Beaune wanted to share stories, news, and developments, but the site lacked a module for this. As a result, posts could not be shared via social media. Current posts show that things are happening at the venue and give search engines a reason to return more often.
The contact page lacked a form, directions, or opening hours. For a destination like Rozendaal, directions and opening hours are often the last things a guest checks before departure.
The Koepel, the Tuinkamer, and the Kapel did not have their own pages, and cross-links between the venue and event options were missing. These spaces are exactly why people choose Beaune for a party or gathering, and without their own pages, they were also invisible on Google.

We designed and built the Bistrobar Beaune website in Webflow. Photography of the location, the dishes, and the rooms carries the atmosphere, supported by GSAP animations and fluid page transitions. Because design and development are handled in-house, every subsequent expansion integrates seamlessly with the original.
We expanded the Webflow site with a completely new structure. Separate pages with tailored content were created for groups, business, and venue hire, ensuring each target audience receives targeted information and improving searchability for each segment. Those searching for business options read about lunches and meetings, not weddings.
On pages like Menu & Wines and Location, we added submenus that allow users to scroll directly to the relevant section. This makes navigation clearer and saves visitors from having to search. Especially on mobile, this significantly reduces scrolling on long pages like the menu.
We set up a blog module for the News section. New posts can now be easily published via the CMS and shared directly on social media. The homepage automatically displays the most recent posts, keeping it up to date without the need for manual updates.
The contact page was expanded to include a contact form, directions, and opening hours. We then tested and delivered the complete site for desktop, tablet, and mobile, ensuring that sending an inquiry or looking up directions works perfectly on any screen.

Working together, developing together, examining our ideas, and translating who we are and where we want to go. Taking it to the next level! That is what De Digitaal and the team behind Dorus & Mannes do with and for us. Creative, excellent quality, innovative, groundbreaking, forward-thinking. That is what De Digitaal is to me, and to us. And the Bistrobar Beaune website illustrates this in every way. With flying colors.

Every space and event type has its own page with targeted content. Visitors find exactly what fits their needs immediately. This also helps with Google: anyone searching for a specific space or occasion lands directly on the right page.
Bistrobar Beaune posts new updates themselves via the CMS. These appear automatically on the homepage and are shareable on social media, keeping the site current without agency intervention.

The contact page displays opening hours, directions, and a contact form. Visitors can find all practical information in one place. Anyone looking to make a reservation or submit an inquiry doesn't need to look anywhere else.

Business visitors, groups, and private guests now land on pages specifically tailored to them. Each subpage features unique content, which increases relevance for both search engines and visitors. This also makes the site ideal for targeted campaigns: a promotion for business lunches can link directly to the business page.
The location pages include links to the corresponding group and business pages. This guides visitors step-by-step toward an inquiry or reservation. Someone viewing a space immediately sees what types of gatherings are possible there.
Submenus with scroll anchors take visitors directly to the section they are looking for on pages like Menu & Wines and Location. This keeps long pages organized, even on a phone.
Using the Webflow CMS, Bistrobar Beaune publishes its own posts, which automatically appear on the homepage and are shareable via social media. The team can also update text and photos themselves, without needing any technical knowledge.
